- Mango and Zara are NOT owned by the same company – Zara is part of Inditex, while Mango is independently owned.
- MANGO vs Zara are similar in quality, Zara is more consistent
- MANGO offers more unique fashion, Zara stays closer to the primary fashion trends
- MANGO is good quality for its price range, and better than most fast fashion retailers
- MANGO fits true to size; if you’re between sizes then I would recommend sizing up.
- MANGO shipping is a little slower than most since it ships international

You may have read in a MANGO review that MANGO’s closest competitor is Zara, or even that they’re owned by the same company, but actually–that isn’t true.
While both Zara and MANGO are Spanish based fashion brands, Zara is owned by Inditex, while MANGO remains independently owned.

Yes, it’s true they have similar quality and price, though I would say Zara is more predictable with quality while MANGO has a wider variance with their range of pieces.
MANGO vs Zara carry different styles, but shoppers that like one, may like the other. I shop at both! While both brands are more fashion forward than most, the big difference I noticed after shopping both MANGO vs Zara is the style.
If you’re deciding between Mango or Zara, it the biggest consideration is your personal style and lifestyle preferences. Zara gives you the trendiest version of a style—for example, if cargo pants are in, Zara will have THE must-have silhouette. Mango takes trends and adds a unique twist, offering pieces that stand out rather than blend in.
Choose Zara for a fast-fashion wardrobe update with trendy, affordable options.
Go for Mango if you like slightly more original pieces that feel timeless yet stylish.
If you’re looking for “safe” in the moment fashion, it’s tough to beat Zara for style, quality and affordability. If you like style to be a bit of a wild card, MANGO might offer something more unique that strikes your fancy.

You can expect MANGO styles to withstand the wash and last for more than just a season.
Materials have a nice feel and finish without feeling cheap. I haven’t spotted any sloppy stitching after purchasing several pieces

After purchasing a few pieces from both MANGO and Zara this season, I would say quality verses price is pretty similar.
Zara has what I would consider more consistent quality, whereas MANGO’s unexpected materials or detailing may make them score a couple of points below Zara. But both are a good balance between price and quality, and consistently higher than faster fashion retailers which are starting to offer nearly disposable items.

MANGO sizing is true to size (fitting similar to Zara).
If you’re between sizes, I’d recommend sizing up. I bought three pairs of jeans, a dress and a shirt that I considered for this review. I preferred the jeans I bought in a slightly larger size.

MANGO is a Spanish company and shipping did take a bit longer than some. It took my package about two weeks to arrive.
Tracking was also a little off saying it would arrive later than it actually did, but the good news is that it did arrive! And while two weeks seems like a long time in the era of Amazon, it really isn’t bad for international travel.
