A unique boutique hotel situated blocks from the beautiful Lake Zurich, the LADY’S FIRST Design Hotel in Zurich provides their guests with Wellness opportunities to relax and unwind on their rooftop terrace, spa, and relaxation room. I had an opportunity to spend a weekend here and had such a nice time, enjoying every second of each relaxing amenity!
This hotel is located within walking distance to the beautiful Chinese Gardens and also a short walk (in the other direction) to Zurich’s old town. The neighborhood is situated nearby restaurants, bars and boutique shops as well. The hotel is named “LADY’S FIRST” but of course ladies AND gentlemen are welcomed to stay here. That being said, the wellness area is open to women only and if you aren’t staying here you can visit anytime as a guest.
Seen above is a photo of one of the relaxation rooms, filled with comfortable lounge chairs providing a really laid back and tranquil experience. I had the room all to myself when I got in and spent several hours here! There is also another quiet spa area with a steam bath and sauna just downstairs from here. Win, win, win in my book!
The rooms are nicely decorated and have cozy Swiss quality beds from Swissflex. There are bright colors all around the hallways, common areas and bedrooms for a fun boutique hotel vibe. The bathroom products are from Pure Herbs which is perfectly fitting to the relaxation theme.
They also offer breakfast daily including muffins, croissants, pastries, omelettes, and a selection of cheeses. They even extend the breakfast time on weekends so if like to sleep in (like me!) you can still make it in time to enjoy a bite to eat 🙂
One of the biggest highlights of my stay was getting to know the ladies that work at the front desk. Everyone is VERY friendly and warm and ready to help you with any questions you have about Zurich and the hotel. A huge thank you to the staff that made my stay that much better!
Overall, I had an amazing stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to all the ladies out there looking for a nice getaway in Zurich.
