SISMA Auto has officially opened its new DENZA showroom and service centre in Glenmarie, marking a significant expansion into Malaysia’s growing luxury electric vehicle market. The facility had its grand opening on 25 June 2025, representing a major investment by the company in the premium EV segment.

SISMA Auto, established 30 years ago, operates as a multi-brand luxury automotive group with several key divisions. The company runs Malaysia’s largest Class A BYD 3S Centre in Glenmarie, along with premium showrooms at PJ33 Mall and IPC Shopping Centre. It also operates as an authorised Volvo dealer and runs SISMA AUTO HUB, which offers multi-brand luxury vehicle services.

Through a joint venture with Sime Darby Motors, SISMA Auto serves as the exclusive importer and distributor for Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles in Malaysia. The company remains a second-generation, family-owned business founded by the late Dato’ Syed Ibrahim Syed Mohamed and his brother Syed Hussain Syed Mohamed.

The new facility spans 20,000 square feet across two floors, backed by a total investment of RM25 million. DENZA, a luxury electric vehicle brand under global automotive giant BYD, is positioning itself to capture a growing share of Malaysia’s premium vehicle market through strategic dealer partnerships like SISMA Auto.

The showroom features an expansive vehicle gallery where customers can view DENZA’s electric vehicle lineup and arrange personalised test drives. The facility is designed to accommodate future model expansions as DENZA continues to develop its product range.

Complementing the showroom is a state-of-the-art service centre equipped to provide comprehensive after-sales support for DENZA vehicles. The facility offers premium concierge services, including door-to-door vehicle pick-up and drop-off for servicing directly from customers’ homes or offices.

The opening is part of a broader expansion strategy by BYD Malaysia, which is simultaneously launching five new DENZA dealerships across the country. Managing Director of BYD Malaysia Sdn Bhd Eagle Zhao highlighted the company’s commitment to the Malaysian market.

The DENZA SISMA Auto Showroom and Service Centre is located at No. 21, Jalan Perintis U1/52, Seksyen U1, Bandar Glenmarie, Shah Alam. Operating hours are Mondays to Saturdays from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, and Sundays and public holidays from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

DENZA Malaysia Announces Extended First Scheduled Maintenance Interval

DENZA Malaysia announced a major change to its vehicle maintenance schedule, extending the first scheduled service interval from 5,000km to 20,000km or one year, whichever comes first. The new policy, which takes effect on 1 July 2025, represents a four-fold increase in the maintenance interval.

The automotive manufacturer says the extended interval reflects growing confidence in the reliability and build quality of its electric vehicle lineup. Previously, DENZA owners were required to bring their vehicles in for the first inspection at just 5,000km or three months of ownership.

“This extension of our first scheduled maintenance interval is a testament to the exceptional quality and durability embedded in every DENZA vehicle. We are immensely proud of our engineering excellence, which allows us to confidently offer this enhanced convenience to our valued customers. This move not only underscores our commitment to delivering a premium ownership experience but also reflects our unwavering belief in the long-term reliability of our products. We are dedicated to providing peace of mind and ensuring our customers enjoy every journey.”

The change is expected to significantly improve the ownership experience for DENZA customers by reducing the frequency of early service visits and allowing owners more time to enjoy their vehicles without interruption.
