My friend, Kimberly, approached me recently and asked if I would check out a new product she was working on. It was travel-related and she thought it might be something I’d like to see.
She stopped by the house and, with box in tow, took out a large stack of handmade pillow cases she calls Puffy Stuffers.
Brilliant product and, maybe even, more brilliant of a name!
Using unique textiles (fleece, flannel and batik cotton), she’s created a lightweight, packable pillowcase that are great for travel and camping. All you do is stuff your puffy coat (or any other jacket) into the opening in the back of the Puffy Stuffer, and you’ve got a clean, easy-to-use pillowcase no matter where you go.
I’ve taken this on flights with me and find it the perfect size for airplane pillows. I feel so much better knowing that I’ve got a clean place to lay my head when trying to nap in-flight!
The opening in the back of the Puffy Stuffer folds over itself to seal in your jacket (or airplane pillow). I love that feature because it means there’s no zipper that I might end up sleeping on.
Puffy Stuffers are one size fits most and are very reasonably priced at $27/each on the Puffy Stuffer Etsy store. If you require a larger version, these can be made to order. BTW – you really do need to check out that Etsy store–you won’t believe the wide array of colors and patterns that are available!
